If you are pregnant, or thinking of becoming pregnant, one of the most important things you need to do is find a midwife who is caring, friendly and has your best interests at heart.
Covering most West Auckland areas, our office is conveniently located in Central Henderson, where your pre natal visits will take place. We offer full labour and delivery care at Waitakere Maternity unit and the possibility of North Shore hospital, however we are also happy to provide the option of a home birth for women who have healthy and complication free pregnancies.
If you are a New Zealand Citizen, your midwifery service is free of charge. If you are not currently a NZ Citizen, please contact us and we can discuss the costs incurred with receiving midwifery services in New Zealand. We are able to provide everything related to your pregnancy, from blood tests and scans, to prescriptions for medication related to your pregnancy. We can even provide pregnancy tests if you contact us or drop into our clinic. I believe that pregnancy is a natural life occurrence that should take place without any problems. We enjoy working together with women and their families to ensure that your care is tailored to your individual needs.
There is a shortage of midwives in West Auckland, so it is never too early to make contact. We do limit how many woman we can safely care for each month.
